オノ セイゲンが初めてショーのための音楽を作ったのは1987年の9月から5シーズン。89年の10月まで音楽演出を担当。当時の会場は1200人収容、ショ−は30〜40分あった。96年3月から小さな会場で300人という(ショーと言うよりは)「プレゼンテーション」となり、そこで「音」は一切使用されず、緊張感あふれるカメラのシャッター音だけが響く。97年3月に再びオノが呼ばれた時、「音」は使用するが「音楽ではない」音というリクエストにより、演奏の一部、作曲されたごく短いフレーズ、生活音をフラグメンテーションにしてサンプリング・キーボードに70種類以上の「音」をアサインして、ショーの進行に合わせてインプロヴィゼーションで「音」のフラグメンテーションを配置(演奏)した。その時代に作曲された未発表の曲たちが収録されている。
