Joao Pato (Duckman), Rosa Duck Pet-Nat, NV winback summer 2020 and preserved orange aromas withPato means duck in Portuguese, and the Pato family leaned all the way into it with their playful "Duckman" labelof which this pink fizz is the most joyful expression. It's a pet nat: whole Baga berries co fermented with Maria Gomes and left to finish their bubbles in the bottle, ancestral style, with no sulfur added. Baga is Bairrada's brooding, tannic red grape, but bottled young and fizzy it goes bright and juicy, all strawberry and redcurrant.
