2013 Domaine Marquis d'Angerville Volnay 1er Cru "Clos des Angles" Mineral-accented red fruit liqueur scentsThe 2013 Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Angles was showing just a touch of reduction when I tasted it. Underneath is some undergrowth, mulch like scents infusing the black fruit. The palate is medium bodied with gently grippy tannins. There is moderate weight in the mouth with a more assertive blackberry and raspberry finish. Fine. (NM)
