Luccarelli Primitivo Puglia Primitivo Only the finest Cabernet vineyardsA wine from the Farnese group. From the province of Manduria, this is made mostly from old bush vine grapes, the balance trellised 20 years + vines. Aged in 2nd and 3rd fill barriques for 6 8 months. Lovely black and morello cherry on the nose with red and blackberries and vanilla oak. Rich with some real fruit sweetness on the palate, black cherry plum, a hint of raisin and oak. It's creamy and dense with some bittersweet characters.
