Silver and Shagreen Magnifying Glass briefcases 5 cm/2⅛ inches (diameter) xA beautiful silver magnifying glass with Shagreen handle, hallmarked London 1911. Makers mark for Samuel Jacobs. Also has original retailers name J. H. Werner who were based in Friedrichstrasse, Berlin and were one of the court jewellers. The front of the handle is decorated with an applied silver Christmas tree and the date 1916 is engraved. Dimensions: 10. 5 cm 4 inches (diameter) x 26. 5cm 10 inches (length) x 1. 5cm inch (thick).
