The moonstones graduate in size from 1. 8 2. 5ct in the centre and have a ghostly inner light that floats across the surface. The mystifying moonstone derives its name from the stones ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene,
