2014 Elk Cove Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 20% Cabernet Franc and 10%The 2014 Pinot Noir is a blend of six vineyard sites that goes through a barrel selection, matured in wood for ten months. It offers brambly red fruit on the nose, a little darker than some others, but nicely defined and full of charm. The palate is medium bodied with a soft, approachable entry. There is good volume in the mouth with blackberry, raspberry, white pepper and truffle Iike notes with a structure underlying the fruit driven finish. Good
