The album opens with the single Happy, a catchy pop meditation on simple pleasures realized. From there Sexton introduces an incandescent, Wurlitzer groove on Thought I Knew Ya followed by the albums signature moment, Wild Angels, on which he delivers his most affecting vocal performance to date, including his own multi tracked backing vocals
