In 1930 Newfield Potteries was purchased and between 1957 and 1980 the Victoria and Highgate Works were rebuilt and expanded. In 1980 the firm acquired the Alexander Works at Cobridge, which were originally built by Myott in 1902, after merging with Myott in 1976 as Myott Meakin. It then became part of the Churchill Group in 1991. The
