The stand has been finished in a red coloured stain which has largely worn away revealing the treated beach wood frame underneath

Scroll back slipper chair 'as is' Brocante with no chips or cracksA mid 1800s scroll back slipper chair with a straight back, and set on turned ebonised legs. Sourced in Bourges, Central France. It is covered in a very fine yellow patterned cotton voile fabric, which has some areas of light staining, however nothing that we feel overly detracts from its appearance.
