This was a very early silk painting showing a typical scene which can be found anywhere on the Dingle Peninsula

There is so much colour in the fields and frequent wonderful sunrises and sunsets

from cold and rain

This would be more likely to be seen around Killarney and inland from Dingle as our weather doesnt really allow for trees to grow so tall and straight

One of the three Queens of the Tuatha de Danann, who appeared to Amhairghin the first of the Gaelic people to invade Ireland in mythical times. He announced himself in an epic poem extolling his virtues and being at one with the whole environment. He and his brothers successfully conquered Ireland.
