When I first started painting larger format pieces, I knew this design was one that I wanted to do at this scale. The ability to see more of watercolors textures and layers at this scale makes this piece really fun to look at. I specifically chose this color palette to emulate the feeling of looking into the swirls of ocean depths calming but also full of mysteries. More
