This cute lil guy was turned from a piece of 100 year old black walnut barn beam with a spalted maple base

Black walnut and figured spalted maple darning mushroom mappa burl Approx: 3 x 9" /A handy and ergonomic little darning mushroom made from beautiful black walnut with a figured spalted maple handle. A slight curve in the handle helps with grip and will work for both right and left handed menders. The cap is finished with a durable shellac and the handle with a grip friendly oil and wax. Approx: 8cm 3. 25" cap, 15cm 6" total height
