This silhouette is called the handkerchief style, because it looks like a big square handkerchief, cut in the middle for the waist and the skirt drapes into a flared skirt with 4 corners. When I found this red and pink striped ikat, it was perfect for this design! This ikat textile was made in Jepara, on a semi manual weaving tool called the ATBM (Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin) which
