Hovhaness: Dawn on Mountain Lake for bass trio• Fox andAlan Hovhaness (1911 2000) was one of the most prolific composers of the 20th century, with some 500 catalogued works. Rediscovered by the ISB and published for the first time in 2020, Dawn on Mountain Lake was composed and dedicated to Rufus Reid in 1968.
