You cant play it on your first turn, and you cant play it on a Basic Pokmon that was put into play on the same turn you intend to play it
Grading the card will cost money, so you should only do this when the card seems to be worth a lot

Honestly, most people are best served by more than one: For most people : TCGPlayer for fast scanning of ungraded collections, and Misprint for anything you want to dig deeper on, especially graded cards, raw-versus-graded pricing, and vintage
Both halves of the card have a ton of play and will always make themselves felt in a game
