As long as youve got information about your opponents cards, you can always turn off a huge portion of their deck
One of the pieces I really enjoy about the cards is how they have lots of throwback mechanics that we dont often see in Magic anymore
but if this review taught me anything, its that Wizards created a shockingly low amount of failed experiments in this product
Add in the fact that you get another creature whenever your opponent plays a spell on your turn, and you have the making for a pretty powerful (and fun) enchantment spell
The second one is especially strong, if you already have an established board, which shouldn't be a problem for an Elves tribal deck
Whether you're playing it in Control, Bant Field of the Dead, Esper Planeswalkers, or whatever other deck you're running, or your building your deck against it, be ready for Supreme Verdict with other countermeasures like Selfless Spirit or be ready to build a threat base that mixes in other threats like planeswalkers or vehicles to help insulate yourself
