While theres nothing wrong with serialised cards per se, their limitation to collector boosters is yet another of Wizards of the Coasts fingers upsetting the scale balanced between game and collectible
This does what you want intuition to do but much more effectively, at a very slight cost of having less other utility
Though, you may be asking yourself, Why would I want to play a card that imposes a restriction on myself when I can just play strong cards that only provide me upside? That is an incredibly fair question, this style of card certainly isnt the clearest on the surface as to how they can be used to your own advantage
Its not as easy to defend it with countermagic, but a fresh hand and 6 mana is still really good
He can play Historic cards from the top of your library, and rewards you with Food for doing so
