And since we know that there are many cards in the new Standard that are graveyard-matters cards (along with an entire SECOND mechanic (Undergrowth) that is purely a graveyard-matters mechanic and a THRID partial-graveyard mechanic in Jump-Start), it's safe to say that Surveil has the potential to do a lot of damage in the new meta
Closing Out the Year There are a couple themes that this list expresses: firstly, this was a year dominated by Lord of the Rings
Ergo, they cant cast their commanders while Drannith Magistrate is on the battlefield since their commanders are in the Command Zone, not in their hand
Each pack contains 12 Magic cards, including 1 Mystical Archive card (Uncommon, Rare, or Mythic Rare), 1 Lesson card (Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Mythic Rare), 1 Rare or Mythic Rare, 1 foil of any rarity, 1 Wild Card of any rarity, 6 assorted Commons or Uncommons that are thematically connected (with Commons connected to other Commons, and Uncommons connected to other Uncommons), and 1 Land cardplus 1 Art Card and 1 Ad/Token or special card from Magic's history (a card from "The List")
The signature versions are shown below, and non-signature versions look the same just without the signature
No one was more excited about this than Mark Rosewater, he was the happiest I'd ever seen him (and he's generally a very happy guy)
