Dragons/Flyers Themberchaud doesnt deal damage to flyers, and since most Dragons are flyers, I decided to run a bunch of Dragons and take advantage of Dragon synergies
Many players also just have a soft spot for both the original versions of these two legendary creatures, adding an element of novelty to how sought after this card is
Whats so cool about Brenard is that he makes an awesome Golem commander, especially since the Bant color combination covers all the various Splicer creatures that boost Golems and create one or more Golems when they enter the battlefield
The quality of this years precon was inconsistent, but the general bar has been raised compared to previous yearsnone of these are unplayable like Undead Unleashed
That being said, if this card is able to be cast consistently, the artifact deck is going to love it
So on the advice of people I respected, I decided to stick to my guns and play Shock Lock, knowing that if any of the other decks in the format wanted to counter the now-known RowEgg/Vileplume deck, they could, and I would prey on them
