The first player can finish their turn as normal from there, either by playing a character, item, action, or song or taking some other available action or no action at all
If the Equipment is no longer on the battlefield as the job select ability resolves, you'll still create the Hero token, although you won't attach any Equipment to it
I prioritize powerful five-drop and six-drop characters, but I also value cheaper characters with great stats, evasive and/or potential for card advantage

It's one of the few entries that's actually climbing in price, so the opportunity to snag it for cheap might've already passed
