When you add in that we now have cards like Force of Negation and Solitude in the format, my guess is that even if Blazing Shoal were unbanned, the best builds of Infect would look more or less like they do currently, without Blazing Shoal and various 10-mana red cards
The coolest thing that Ive seen someone do with March of Swirling Mist is exiling their Misthollow Griffin and phasing out some of my hatebears so that they could go off with Food Chain by casting the Misthollow Griffin from exile

Invigorating Hot Spring provides a few counters, though thats arguably less important than giving your team the zoomies to pressure the opposition
Sure, the Avengers Plant tokens get bigger with time, but this cards Beasts are more relevant if the actual creature dies quickly
