Thats sort of a theme with these decks, and Commander precons in general, that they have low-effort, low-value mana bases, but at least theres some value in this one
I tend to side in Xantid Swarm here, but thats up to you and if you feel comfortable siding out any mana sources: -2 Chrome Mox -1 Silence -1 Wipe Away/Krosan Grip +3 Xantid Swarm +1 Chain of Vapor Playing and Sideboarding Against Naya Zoo The Zoo player will seek to aggressively burn you out, and will most likely be bringing in some combination of hate cards in the form of Gaddock Teeg and/or Ethersworn Canonist, and maybe even Mindbreak Trap, so I tend to ditch the Ad Nauseam plan and leave in a few Chants for the protection from Mindbreak Trap and them holding a lot of burn for after your resolve Doomsday
Polish later : Add powerful finishers or tutors once consistency is locked in
To me, the biggest showcase of this card's splashability was its inclusion in Traverse Shadow, where it supplants Manamorphose as a quick instant for the graveyard while also often acting as a delirium-ready Traverse the Ulvenwald out of the gate
While six mana is enough that I would be surprised if this ability were the primary reason people played the card, it can do some pretty powerful things in the late game and opens up the possibility of Honored Knight-Captain seeing play in an equipment deck
