While I personally have a soft spot for anything horror-themed, this set played things relatively safe from a mechanical standpoint

These riffs on Phyrexian Arena make you pay life instead of lose it, and they provide upside beyond drawing cards

The Shock Lands It feels like a bit of a cop out to end on these, but they will without a doubt be the most important cards in Standard from this set

For the most part, its a good ramp enabler and Im happy with that
