Not undeservedly so: it is true that many of these cards make excellent Commanders, after all

I've kept them because they're important to me, and I think for at least some of the people who bid for these expensive cards, it's more about regaining a lost part of their childhood than it is about snagging a card they can hopefully sell in a few years for a profit
Blue is known for being relatively bad at countering creatures in cEDH because so many of the cheapest blue counterspells dont counter creatures, as youll see in the rest of this list, so being able to counter legendary creatures (especially commanders, of course) is a really nice perk for Tales End
Consider a box if you want both playable cards and collector pulls
