While Mesa Enchantress may be the weakest of the bunch, any of these three cards are perfect for keeping your hand stocked with gas while strengthening your board
Both colors have one common (Summon: Choco/Mog and Call the Mountain Chocobo) and one uncommon (Ambrosia Whiteheart and Choco-Comet) that make or are birds
We either do that by taking off a turn casting spells to turn day to night and switch it back to day so Vadrik puts counters on himself, or we cast a pump spell like Blazing Crescendo
Well end the game with either a big Exsanguinate or Gray Merchant of Asphodel after chipping away at our opponents with the gradual Pestilence damage

Personally, I dont think this card should be in this list: even if this sort of permission is great versus some decks, I feel the most played ones usually dont care, or trade positively with two mana counters
