With Norse mythology came dwarves and and a whole lot of treasure, including the legendary dwarf berserker Magda, Brazen Outlaw - who generates a new treasure token every time she or any other dwarf is tapped, and can sacrifice five treasures at once in exchange for searching your deck for any dragon or artifact to immediately put on the battlefield
The merged creature is the same creature it was before the merge, so any Auras or counters that were on it remain on it, it remains tapped if it was tapped, it's still attacking if it was attacking, and so on

Three life is good for the control deck but there are very few matchups indeed where RDW cares about its life total
Or maybe you even think theres some sleepers in the set that will jump in price
It'll bring some great value to a regular Commander deck, but it seems increasingly clear that companion wasn't really meant for Commander
