We had about 2-3 inches of snow overnight

comes the bridge over Eakin Creek West that is between mature box elder trees and a couple of elderberry bushes

I was hoping for a sunrise that had soft lighting and cool colors but

so I set out in the morning to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this 2nd day of the New Year

it didn't take long for the colors of the sunrise to fill the sky and the altostratus clouds being illuminated with those yellows and oranges
