This is essentially about small talk and the idea of sugar coating our emotions. While creating this series our friendly snails lived in a terrarium in my studio. The snails had a happy earthy playground with branches to crawl, a house to hide in, mineral water to drink. I gave them plenty of fresh food to eat, but the higlight for them was when food stylist Jo Wilcox was working in the studio
