Kamashiki (Kettle Mat) - Igeta Teapot Made in Japan / NiigataThis black cast iron kamashiki (kettle mat rest or trivet) for tetsubins protects your tetsubin from damage as well as your tables and counter tops from burns. It has a simple, but attractive Igeta (from the Chinese character for well) cross hatch pattern with legs covered with removable rubber to protect surfaces.
