Antique South American Spur or Espuela Grande - Spur560 may25 This can be pulled outA single primitive hand forged South American spur . This has a dorn turned neck and a large saw toothed rowel . It is made of iron, with some simple engraved decoration along both arms. There is a ring at the end of each arm of the heel band It has a large heel plate with two holes at the top for the attachment of heel chains. It would have been made by a local blacksmith, so there are no maker's marks. Dimensions : 8" (20cm) long x 4"
