Chinchero, located in the Sacred Valley, Peru, is renowned for its fine weaving in the ancient Inca tradition. Chinchero weaving, highly regarded for its exquisite detail, is entirely hand made, the wool is hand spun and natural dyes are made from various local plants. The cloth is then tightly woven using a backstrap loom.
