Bronze Boat Nieves Carrasco The ink paper matrix isThis extraordinary piece is hand built using brown sculpture clay, assembled using soft slabs and coils. The slabs are textured by stamping, folding, carving and stretching. Cracks appear through the stretching and are gently encouraged. Theyre finished by layering coloured slips and underglazes. This process makes it one of a kind. Due to the porous nature of the clay this piece is not suitable for holding water. Measures approximately 15. 5"l x 5"h.
