I headed to the lake where I looked for a good place to set up the tripod and wait for the colors of the sunrise to fill the sky

I crossed over the South Fork Kishwaukee River and noticed the sunlight lighting up the clouds and the prairie landscape with a remarkable and beautiful light. I set up the tripod, camera, composed the dramatic clouds being illuminated and began photographing. (499 180)
