The Tempest copies havent been drastically affected by the mass C14 reprint, so even if you have the old school version you didnt lose that much value (due to the new art and card look compared to the old version)

This makes it a more aesthetically interesting card to me, and it's also the rarer of the two given how hard it is to track down English copies of Portal Three Kingdoms cards

And if you can always untap, flash is so much better

I briefly experimented with a Sultai deck with four copies of the card during BfZ Standard, and while the deck itself was bad, Gather the Pack felt strong
