This is easily fixed by making their scale become 5 when there isn't another magnet warrior in the other pendulum zone, or having the scale 9 cards prevent you from special summoning monsters other than Magnet Warriors (Which seem to be the common restrictions)

The cards other ability is Protective Embrace, which grants other characters on the players battlefield the Ward status thereby forcing the opponent to either target other cards with attacks or overcome a Challenge to attack warded cards
