Kamahl does a lot of heavy lifting in this deck, not only as a great mana-sink for late-game attacking (like we mentioned above with Gilt-Leaf Archdruid stealing lands), but also providing some protection from mass removal by threatening to animate your opponents lands if they cast something like Wrath of God
Whether or not those sets will have precons is currently unknown, but we can hope

Post an advertisement on a Facebook group or online and explain that these cards all fit into the Merfolk deck
As Commander decks have become more efficient, with more targeted removal spells, and players have gotten better at identifying commanders they don't want to play against and having pregame conversations, so that gives us the confidence to bring back Braids
