Now they are mostly played for style points and for the obvious snow reasons (Marit Lages Slumber, Dead of Winter, Jorn, God of Winter, etc.)
Exile target card from a graveyard
It isn't especially efficient as a three-mana removal spell that also requires us to exile a creature, but our deck is really good at making semi-useful 1/1s, so it usually isn't that painful to exile a Pest to cast it
It will see a lot of play in Limited under the white-black sacrifice archetype, but the card is more genuinely useful in any deck that utilizes black in the format
Id give it a shot in Pauper Commander, or if I was playing Bracket 1 Commander night
Creatures you begin to control later in the turn and noncreature permanents that become creatures later in the turn won't get +2/+2 or gain any of the listed abilities
