As it is card draw it effectively doesn't cost you a card to play it so it greatly improves the deck's overall mill per card average

It saw a lot of play when it was reprinted in M12 since red decks often dont have other ways to use their graveyard

Its not legal in any format, but for collectors its a piece of Magic history regardless, forming part of the Power 9 (more on those shortly)

There probably needs to be another strong mayhem card or two to make it worth building an entire deck around that aspect of Carnage, but there should be a shell for this card somewhere
