You want to get down to a small deck as quickly as possible to remove as much variance as possible from your own side of any matchup, and theres no better card for that than the professor himself

Its flexible and has a lot of uses, and in this deck, it can act like an Open into Wonder a good percentage of the time

I will, however, suggest that perhaps more people are proliferating than populating
