Interaction A few counterspells help keep people honest when you have blue mana up to potentially stop their game-winning combo, or a pesky battlefield sweeper that will otherwise send your glorious Dragons to the graveyard
Dragapult ex has virtually no problem with these cards because its Stage 1 evolution, Drakloak, is its draw engine that can look at the top two cards of the deck and add one to your hand once per turn
Thragtusk was a frustrating presence in its time, but again, it's another one that now seems kind of quaint
