As a casual Pokemon TCG fan who has only dabbled in the actual card game, I cant speak to the metagame implications of the new Pokemon and Trainer cards

For domestic collectors, that means more stores, more inventory, and prices that are often 30-50% lower than what the same products cost abroad

Some of the cards I have chosen are hardly the most significant cube cards and see a lot less play than the staples

Yet today, no non-distributor can consistently get cards, because in mint condition, many brand new (not decades old) chases are worth down-payments on cars and houses
