Participating in Casual Play : In some casual playgroups, proxy cards are allowed, enabling players to enjoy the game even if they don't own certain expensive or rare cards
She gains a loyalty counter to create a 1/1 creature token (which automatically becomes two), she adds a +1/+1 counter on all of your creatures AND gives them flying until your next turn (all for free), or she can sacrifice three loyalty counters to destroy a target creature of mana value three or greater
Both brought some fun and flavorful (and in certain cases, borderline overpowered) cards into the mix
You can usually find alternate versions or accept cards below Near Mint condition, but card quantities seem more sparse than other competitors
This could be a really fine tool in the right hands, and it looks like people will be playing this in all Modern decks -- a format that relies heavily on land abilities in general
