A good showcase for this pattern is on Chandra, Torch of Defiance

It's great in decks with its size of 3/2 for 3 mana and in a pair of creature types to build around

This one gives a creature +X/+0 whenever you cast a noncreature spell, where X is that spells mana cost

Green [mtg_card]Prey Upon is a generally fine removal spell, and Prey Upon with a twist tends to cost extra mana but end up not having enough value to offset the tradeoff

The laying of any card as a land is a neat mechanic and solves screw issues although it is not for Magic

For getting supplies, saving on deals or sealed MTG, this is a contender for me
