The first set of Pokmon cards was released on October 20, 1996, containing 102 cards
Aside from the obviously powerful cards in the set such as the Diancie Prism Star card w/ Cheerleader ability, Beast Ring, Ultra Necrozma etc the set also presented a number of less anticipated, but equally viable Pokemon and trainer cards, some of my favourite examples are below:- Crasher Wake 129/131 allows players to discard two water energies and take ANY two cards from their deck making it a pretty damn good cards for those running water decks
Today Im going to be doing a shallower dive and taking a look at a few of the top cards across each of the different categories we have, and probably follow up again in the coming weeks with more of the cards that I think are going to do well so be prepared for a slightly different article format than youre used to from me
+1/+1 counters are the obvious place to start for GW
I've tried this a few times and folks, lemme tell you -- easier said than done
Spending a card to stun something for two turnsjust isnt worth it
