They could flop, or they could be really fun, or, they could be surprisingly useful
I absolutely love the artwork on this card, evoking between the The Last Supper and the Wasteland

A tribal deck focused on a specific creature type, such as Elves, Goblins, or Merfolk, would greatly benefit from including Vanquisher's Banner in their deck
They started by exploring some variation of flashback (which lets you cast an instant or sorcery from your graveyard and played nicely with flurry, Jeskai's signature mechanic), but flashback didn't feel too Temuresque without the big creature vibe
