Having played all three decks in both two-person and three-person play, we enjoyed the Sapphire and Steel deck the most, as its basically unstoppable (at least compared to the other Starter Decks) when ramped up properly
This two-cost item lets you gain one lore anytime an opponents character, item, or location is bounced back to their hand
Belle gives you powerful ramping capabilities thats pretty much unparalleled in the game to this day, while also pairing well with the Dime
[Samples of the starter decks were provided by Ravensburger
The play is fun, rewarding, and pretty consistent if you use your draw cards
If there's a cost associated with having a creature attack a player, its controller isn't forced to pay that cost, so it doesn't have to attack that player
