My main concern is that may players do not pay attention to the backs when purchasing sub-$50 priced cards
Since it can be bounced at instant speed, you can easily protect it if an opponent tries to remove it
Youll probably need some, as youre unlikely to reach turn 6 or 7 without taking any damage, but its ridiculously easy to turn this cat beast into an alternate win condition
Mystic Snake was often a way to do damage to an opponent who you otherwise couldn't find an opening to get a threat down against or a two-for-one by fighting one of the many bears that were in decks in those days, and when it did these things it was good
In many of the decks that look to play this card it will be able to protect something game winning such as equipment, Opposition, Sower of Temptation, planeswalkers or Vedalken Shackles or stop something ruinous like a Wrath of God or a planeswalker again as its main functions
The former is now officially The Abyss and the latter is Shenmeng. As for new planes
