The commander is Emmara, Soul of the Accord, and she synergizes very well with the deck's abundance of Token creating cards by creating a 1/1 Soldier Token every time she is tapped

Provided you have enough creatures, it also goes infinite with two cards : Wakeroot Elemental and SIlvanus's Invoker, because the one thing your mono-green Commander deck needed was a way to get more mana

Its not as powerful in this deck as others because you cant produce infinite mana, but its still a fine finisher

This card has enough attack power that, combined with its effect, can get you an OTK

The low mana curves present in Modern, Legacy, and Vintage make countering a one-drop for free an absurdly powerful proposition
