For me, this card has everything, from story to craftsmanship
V is a sort of Pokemon similar to what we've seen in past sets with EX and GX, but here the designers of the game have taken things up a notch with the artwork
I thought that I didnt need a reference, but the materials that I had been given covered a lot of details that I had never noticed before
A quick aside: this deck has a 2 card low mana infinite combo in Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Blowfly Infestation creating infinite death and enters triggers
You shoot the actual card on a plain background in bright, even light, never a stock image, and you watch for glare on foils
Necropotence resolves, its controller pays the majority of their life total in order to put that many cards into their hand on the end step, and suddenly you wind up with 30+ cards in hand
